The Hut

Private, sunny and sheltered, in this peaceful location you will fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up to bird song. Access to the Hut is a few minutes up a walking track. Close to the beach and esplanade. Surfing, biking, swimming, walking tracks, cafes all on hand.

A beautiful private hill-side sanctuary in Sumner overlooking Christchurch with a clear view to the southern alps, estuary & the whole of pegasus bay. This ecologically & sustainably designed home off a private lane surrounded by native bushland with arguably one of the best views in town. With less than a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk downhill you will have access to Sumner Beach and Village. Alternatively a short walk uphill to access mountain bike and walking tracks on the Port Hills.

Te Ara Cottage Tranquil Retreat

Beautiful charming cottage with fantastic view. The cottage has a queen bed, a sitting room, shower, bath and toilet with own deck. Not self-contained but has gas burners, bbq set outside on the deck and microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster inside. Tea/Plunger coffee are provided. There is a walking track below the cottage and also more walks around here. We are located in Diamond Harbour, 20min walk to jetty that you can catch a ferry to Lyttelton, only 10min ride, beautiful journey

The Birds Nest is a secluded and boutique cabin nestled amongst the tree tops and away from other houses. This luxury hideaway provides the peace and quiet of nature, whilst maintaining close proximity to all that the city and suburbs has to offer. A comfortable studio unit in a quiet beach hill suburb of Sumner. Guests appreciate the low price & as described by a recent guest “One of the best Airbnb we have stayed in, great little private place in a great part of Christchurch.” One off-road park is available. Great walks within 15 minutes, uphill to open farmland & downhill to Sumner beach, cafe's & restaurants. The studio is set in a quiet cul-de-sac with no road noise and with very quiet neighbours. It's a very restful setting.

Only suitable for adult single or couple but travel cot available for one baby. Not suitable for wheelchairs or guests with limited mobility.

Our Lyttel Whare (house) is a brand new, architecturally designed tiny home, thoughtfully located and decorated to maximise stunning harbour and hill views and to reflect our funky Lyttelton vibe. With access to a range of local walks, markets, eateries and activities, a break away will leave you feeling enriched and indulged with great memories to take with you. We aim to provide as much information and comfort as you need to have a great experience.

Oma's Cottage

The cottage has a fully functional kitchen, and a washer dryer to get all of your laundry sorted. The cottage has a double bedroom with a queen bed, a single bedroom and a comfortable pull out couch if there are more people staying. We would absolutely love to host you but please be aware this is not a hotel. It's primarily a place for family to stay when they come and visit so just treat it like your own home away from home ☺️

Self Contained Studio

The studio is located at the back of our property, independent from the main house. It's a quiet, sunny spot with a view to our back garden. At the foot of the Port Hills, there's lots of opportunities to explore them and the Harbour within a short distance. Close to bus and cycle routes, as well as plenty of e-scooters nearby, we are only a 10 minute drive to the city or 15 minutes by bus, the perfect launchpad to explore Chch!

Clifftop Retreat- Seaviews

The perfect blend of Pacific Ocean views, lush native plantings and close proximity to both the city and beach. Great for a couple, our wee garden hideaway nestled on the lower slopes above Redcliffs has a commanding view and a charming 'tiny home' feel. Completed in 2023, this cabin has everything that you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. With bellbirds singing, enjoy the sunrise from your bed and the ever changing view.

Otaranui Farm Flat

Our 31 ha farm overlooks Lyttelton and Corsair Bay. We breed goats and raise lowline cattle for the local farmers market. Enjoy easy access to all of Lyttelton's charms, while staying in a private space with spectacular views and farm walks. This lovely self-contained wheelchair-friendly flat is brand new and warm, with easy access and parking. It has a full kitchen/dining area, Queen bed, couch and window seat.
