Redbud Cabin at Tall Timbers Retreat! We have a total of five cabins. Redbud Cabin is our largest. It can sleep up to 17 in beds. If you require each person to have their individual bed then Redbud cabin will sleep 12 people. Tall Timbers Retreat is only eight miles from downtown Nacogdoches, which is THE oldest town in Texas. Little Pine Cabin is located in a quaint compound on the shores of Lake Sam Rayburn, but conveniently situated to visit Lufkin (18 miles), Huntington (15 miles) and Nacogdoches (20 miles). The cabin has beautiful views of the lake and complete access to our expansive shoreline. Please note this is an open concept cabin. There are walls but no doors.

There is traffic noise. The oldest town in Texas, Nacogdoches, is 17 miles away and is an easy commute from here. The largest lake in Texas, Sam Rayburn, is a 25-minute drive.
