Hunter House - Self Catering in Cederberg

The Hunter House is a private holiday home in the Cederberg that is surrounded by blossoms, flowers and Namaqualand daisies in the spring. Summer brings the sound of the sun beetles and fresh peaches next to your holiday home. The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar. Welcome to Weavers Cottage, set among the citrus overlooking the valley. A 12 minute walk takes you to a quiet waterfall and natural swimming spots. Guests spend their days hiking, swimming, bouldering, or simply enjoying the stillness. The patio is a peaceful place to unwind, and you will often see ponies & peacocks wandering past. "Mooiheuwel" is a three bedroom house located on the family farm, Wagenpad in the Sandveld. It offers a peaceful and private retreat for up to six guests in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage is an ideal getaway for families and anyone looking to escape the rush of the city and immerse themselves in the beauty of the Sandveld. The farm has hiking trails and beautiful scenery. There are also Cape Mountain Zebra, Bontebok, and Springbok on the farm.

Its ideal spot for a family holiday with beautiful nature surrounding the house. Hiking, bird watching and cycling are some of the things to keep you busy. 28km from the Klipwerf turn off. We are off the grid with no electrical kitchen appliances other than a frigde and freezer and gasstove.

Perfect for boulderers, or anyone wishing to enjoy the beauty of the Cederberg or just to enjoy the peace and quiet. The owners live in a Studio apartment at the back part of the house. They have a separate entrance. While guests will almost be unaware of their presence they are always available to give advice or answer questions.
