The Architect's Retreat by Oregon Coast Modern

Originally designed by renowned Portland, OR architect Marvin Witt for his family, this towering 3 story "tree house" has been lovingly updated and restored. It features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and an open concept living room and kitchen with fireplace on the top floor. The house also features 3 private decks. It's a short walk to the beach and close to town and hiking trails. Per Airbnb policy please note we have exterior cameras for security in the driveway, front walkway and east side siding.

Storm Watch lodge

High above Pacific City on historic Hill Street stands Storm Watch Lodge. With a west view of the Pacific Ocean, Pacific City, and Cape Kiwanda. The open concept living/dining/kitchen area is perfect for up to 4 adults. There are two bedrooms, one with a king bed, the other a double bed. The living room has a sofa sleeper. The original timbers, natural wood walls and original flooring creates the environment to just breathe. We respect our neighbors and follow the Airbnb no parties policy.

Sea Forest Retreat - Little coastal house

Welcome to our clean, cozy Sea Forest Retreat, constructed in 2018. It is a studio space ideal and most comfortable for 2 but can sleep up to 4 people. Large windows and high vaulted ceilings make this small but modern house feel big. Enjoy the tranquility with nice outdoor seating areas nestled among greenery in a residential neighborhood. Manzanita and the beach are 1.5 miles and Nehalem 2 miles away. Dogs (2 dogs maximum) are welcome for a $45 fee. We have a small desk for remote work.

Our family friendly cottage is nestled just a block away from Neahkanie Beach (the north end of Manzanita beach) and is the perfect retreat for your next getaway. With partial ocean views from every west-facing window, your family can enjoy a short walk to the beach and experience the beauty of the coast. Rinse off in the outdoor shower and warm up in the 7 person hot tub. Enjoy a cozy wood-burning fireplace for stormy days or take in breathtaking sunsets on the deck with a glass of wine.

Eagle's Nest - Connect with the Soul of the Coast

300 feet above the ocean on sacred Neahkahnie Mountain, 30 feet above the ground. Built by hand with love in 1985. Look out thru giant Sitka spruce and Douglas fir, south & west to the ocean. Look up from the sleeping loft through a huge skylight to the night stars and moon. Leave urban culture behind. Retreat into a world where the rest of nature speaks loudly. Neahkahnie means "place of the spirits." All are welcome to find true peace & magic here.

The spacious open floor plan and vaulted ceiling, designed by architect Dennis Norman, makes this place one of a kind! Bordering the forest at the end of the road you are in a secluded oasis located at the top of the hill above Manzanita. With skylights, fabulous kitchen, big wood stove, and cozy bedroom loft, hear the distant surf and the rain on the roof as you wake up or doze off . Yet only minutes away from Manzanita and the beach.

This sleepy bayside neighborhood is the perfect place for a quiet getaway. If you walk outside after dark the only sound you will hear is the sound of the ocean or potentially the bugle of a nearby elk. Our home is 1 block from Nehalem Bay and an easy 5 minutes drive to all that Manzanita has to offer. Including beautiful beaches, Nehalem Bay State Park, miles of hiking, delicious dining. Also Short sands is just 7 minutes away.

If you're looking for a Manzanita vacation rental on the north Oregon coast, you’ve just discovered truly unique beachfront lodging. Our deluxe oceanfront cottages in Manzanita offer Pacific Ocean and mountain views all within easy walking distance of downtown. The City of Manzanita requires us to collect 9% transient lodging tax on the rent from each guest. There should be a separate Airbnb line item for this tax. MCA#633

Regal Seagull Manzanita Beach Vacation Getaway

An open A frame two blocks from the beach and within walking distance to Nehalem Bay State Park and the golf course. Manzanita's main street with shops and restaurants is a short 20 minute walk or few minutes drive. A wood burning stove is provided to keep you warm and cozy! *This house is a one bedroom with a queen bed and a large loft. The loft space is where the additional two queen beds are located.

Groovy digs on the Bay

Nestled in Nehalem just a mile from Manzanita sits our Bay Home. It's inspired by nature and intended to be a fish bowl looking out into the endless scenery. The house is comfortable and easily accessible from US101 south of Cannon beach and Arch Cape. You will have some difficulties deciding to stay in or head out. A great compromise is to stay in and look out as the tides come and go.
