One of a kind Log Cabin

ONE OF A KIND: We have a guest cabin next to our house, that I built from logs from our property. It has a living area w/woodstove and couch w/recliners, TV, HVAC, bathroom, small kitchen, front porch, back porch, burn pit out back. Wood is supplied. The loft is furnished w/full size bed. The loft and bathroom have very low ceilings so if you are a tall person it will be very tight. Most everything in this cabin has been repurposed so there are lots of vintage items in this little cabin.

With high ceilings and Paris-themed decor, you can enjoy the city life vibes while enjoying the small town area. Take a short walk to downtown Newton for boutique shops, restaurants, or catch a movie or band within walking distance! This comfy, cute, and stylish family home is located near Lenoir Rhyne University in Hickory, NC. Under a 10 minute drive to quaint downtown Hickory with plenty of shopping and historical districts nearby. Stay in and cook a warm meal while relaxing indoors or step out outside and have a seat on the bench under the covered front porch. Listen to the birds singing while flying about in the nearby tree. We personally live close to the property and will be available if you need us.

Sit and rock on the front deck or lounge in the hammock. 15-20 mins to shopping and downtown Hickory. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 living areas. Theater seating downstairs with surround sound. No smoking. No pets.

The 2-1-3 house

The 2-1-3 house is a charming 1950's bungalow right in the heart of hickory, just minutes from downtown, Lenoir Rhyne college, and many other corporate offices. Coffee houses, restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy and dry cleaning are all within walking distance. The 215 is pet friendly, however we REQUIRE a $20 pet fee, per pet ,also no more than 2 pets allowed. Animals can be no larger than 40 lbs. When you book please select the amount of guest including the pet/pets as guest.

Outside you will enjoy the propane grill and patio seating on a private lot. 2 animals welcome with a pet fee. We are compliant with health and safety guidelines for COVID-19.
