This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. There is very quiet surrounded by hotels and residences, yet convenient reach of bus routes to other landmarks in Kyoto.

Tsukihi House Kyoto is one of the traditional machiyas (townhouses) in Kyoto, built before 1945. The architectural design was carried out by Shigenori Uoya at the Shigenori Uoya Architects and Associates in Kyoto, and a full renovation was carried out while inheriting the original elements of Kyoto-style machiya.
