The Roost

Cabin #2 was built in 2018. Pine exterior, covered porch with breathtaking views of the Ozarks and Lake Norfork in the distance. Cedar lined walls, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, double bed and pull out love seat. This one is perfect for the couple trying to get away and enjoy some privacy or a few fisherman headed to Lake Norfork. We also cater to traveling nurses and doctors. The Roost is very unique. Located two miles from Bryant Creek AND the Northfork River in the ozarks, the cabin is within minutes of popular put in points for floating and blue ribbon trout areas. Norfork Lake is only minutes away and Bull Shoals Lake is 45 minutes. The cabin is set back off a quiet county road and is surrounded by large oak trees. Wildlife is often visible from the comfort of the wrap around porch. The interior is bright and airy featuring hardwood floors, exposed beams, and vaulted ceilings.

One of the best fishing & swimming holes is directly out the front door! ~5 miles to downtown to catch talented folk musicians on the square, head up to the famous Blanchard Springs Caverns & Ozark-St. Francis Forest for hiking/biking, or to Big Flat, AR for our award-winning brewery.

The Ozark Hideaway is on 90 wooded acres 8 mi from Gainesville, MO (home of Hootin-n-Hollerin) in Ozark County on a well-maintained gravel road. Wildlife abounds as you hike the marked trails or warm by the fire pit. The cozy living room offers a gas fireplace. Sleeping space includes a queen bed in the beautifully furnished bedroom, a couch in the living room, and a twin bed in the loft. There is a fully-equipped kitchen. The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower & washer/dryer.

Come stay on a family friendly working cattle farm with over 200 acres of beautiful landscape and gorgeous views. Enjoy your coffee/cocktails from the front porch of a turn of the century farmhouse while watching Southern Missouri's abundant wildlife including white tail deer, turkey, and other critters. We are also a pet friendly farm. The rear yard is fenced for the safety of your loved ones. There is a $10 per day per pet fee, which is due upon arrival.
