Duckcottage: quaint stone cottage

Duckcottage is a five room stone settlers cottage built in 1853 on five acres of bushland at Second Valley. The property is now a refuge for wildlife so it is NOT suitable for dogs or cats. We call it 'duck' cottage because of the height of the doorways. It has been lovingly restored, and the habitat for birds and native animals has been established through revegetation. The property is secluded (there are no neighbours in sight) but it is a short drive to the beach.

Footsteps Cottage is located in the heart of Normanville. Walking distance to all facilities including pristine beaches. My place is good for couples, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). See below about the separate teenagers/kids retreat sleeping arrangements. Enjoy our 3 bedroom coastal cottage located a short walk from the beach. Make this your base to explore the Fleurieu Peninsula, experiencing the delicious local produce. Sit back and relax in the gardens, cook your own pizza in the pizza oven or enjoy a glass of wine under the foliage of the established gardens. Warm yourself with the combustion fire in winter. There is fully fenced off-street parking and a solid carport.
