Um an den Strand zu gelangen muss nur die Inselstraße überquert werden. Bei Ebbe besteht die Möglichkeit ausgedehnter Wanderungen wie an der Nordsee. Bremen, Bremerhaven und Oldenburg sind in etwa 40 min mit dem PKW zu erreichen. Auf der Insel befindet sich ein Strandbad mit Gastronomie von März bis Oktober.
