Our home is located in Rockwood Village just around the corner from the public boat launch and beach. Two kayaks provided. Plenty of room for recreational trailer parking. This is a large (1600 sq. ft.) kid friendly cottage that has all of the conveniences of a home with the beauty and charm of a lakefront cabin. The construction was finished in 2024 so everything is new including the furniture and appliances. The cabin waterfront is in a shallow cove. The depth at the end of the dock is less than 3 feet making it a good place for wading and exploring for kids. Water shoes recommended.

Loon Haven is a peaceful log cabin retreat for family and friends to gather and enjoy all the area has to offer. Situated just 3 miles from Millinocket, this cabin is right on Smith pond and has access to the ITS trails in the winter, ice fishing, snowshoeing and x-country skiing trails as well. In the spring and summer, boating, fishing, hiking, and other summer activities are available at the pond and nearby lakes. Maps and pamphlets are available in the cabin.
