Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

The cottage is located a short 15 minute drive from the 401 and the town of Cobourg, and is a 25 minute drive into Peterborough. We are 5 minutes from Rice Lake which is well known for its great fishing, and 20 minutes drive to the famous Cobourg beach. Come and relax at the cottage!

The Tarn Farm boasts a spring-fed pond that is 3-season swimmable. You might even see some frogs and turtles! Use our farm as a home base as you explore the nearby Prince Edward County & Provincial Parks (Presqu’ile, Sandbanks). New for 2025: screened in patio for dining Al fresco!

Cielo Farm is situated high on the picturesque hills of Cavan, Ontario. It is a small working farm with a market garden, laying hens, Muscovy ducks, Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats and two beloved horses. If you are looking for rest relaxation and connecting with nature, this is a perfect location. We are close to Peterborough and several charming small towns and interesting excursions. You can be as quiet or as active as you wish.
