Wolf Cottage

Wolf cottage is nestled in the trees on a private gated homestead, with a feature double log bed, TV, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and microwave, table and 2 stools, bathroom with hot water shower, towels provided, a great sized outside deck area with BBQ. There is a loft area that could sleep 1 small adult accessed by a ladder. Nice mountain views, lots of back country recreation on the doorstep including the river, waterfall and glaciers, Golden is a 20 minute drive away.

Cozy One Room Schoolhouse on the Prairie

This schoolhouse is the smallest one of two on the property. Country living extends to the outdoors on the private patio. Wrap yourself up in one of our vintage handmade quilts, breathe in the fresh country air and enjoy unobstructed views of neighbouring fields. Saskatchewan is touted as the “Land of Living Skies’, and there’s no better place to see the most amazing sunsets, stars and Northern Lights. Enjoy soaking in your private hot tub while star gazing or looking out over a vast valley.

Nordic Cabin with Cozy Loft and Fireplace

This little Nordic inspired cabin is close to everything but in a peaceful spot just outside of town, walking distance from the Golden Sky Bridge, 5 min ride into the centre of town, and 15 min to Kickinghorse Ski Resort. This beautiful cabin has a two-burner cooktop stowed away to cook your own meals and a mini wood-burning stove to keep you cozy. The Nordic Cabin has everything you need in a small cozy footprint. With space for up to four guests, it features a double bed, futon, two loft beds, kitchenette (mini fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, hot plate), potable water jug &amp; dispenser, TV with DVDs &amp; games, a private compost-toilet outhouse, and a private outdoor fire pit &amp; picnic area. Located steps from the playground and main lodge, it gives both family-friendly access and privacy.</p>

Note for past guests: The hot tub is not available until spring of 2025. The Lakehouse is a lakefront property located on Kivimaa-Moonlight Bay at Turtle Lake, SK. Within steps of the public beach, playground, and a new mini-golf centre. The Lakehouse is a short drive to the boat launch, golf course, fuel and restaurants. The Lakehouse is ideal for rest and relaxation or as a base camp for outdoor enthusiasts - boating, fishing, golfing, sledding, ice fishing and cross country skiing.

Whatever brings you, a peaceful solo retreat or couples get away, this historic tiny home is setup to satisfy, gas fireplace, windows that open & screen door. Modernized in 2020 with full bathroom and kitchenette, it’s a vast change from when my Grandfather built it for shelter from the harsh prairie winters. The logs were harvested over 100 years ago in the Saddlehills and brought to this working family grain farm. Now it’s all play & relax!
