Ringaringa Beach Cottage, comfortable whole house

Very quiet location with a welcome to overseas and New Zealand visitors. Families welcome but parents are asked to remember that although the road has little traffic, the property is not fenced. We have the greatest sea views, plenty of land and pelagic birds to spot with many simple and more challenging walks available, very like New Zealand used to be. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. Hicks Farm accommodation offers a unit that has a bedroom and living room with your own bathroom 15m away along the outside deck. You are sharing the property with our family, the pet sheep and the local kiwi. We are a 20min walk from the centre of Oban, over a couple of hills. Please consider this before booking. Transfers are available with Aurora cabs, please contact them direct. If walking, backpacks are best and don't forget your rain jacket, it has been known to rain here!

Riviera Shack

Great little spot. 200m from the North beach & River. 5min walk to central Riverton - supermarkets & cafes. You maybe able to bring your dog - please check with me first. Dogs need to be kept on a lead around our yard at all times (because of our animals). And they also need to be able to stay off the furniture. The Shack (and yard) are not child safe, please let me know if you have a young child with you. We are also on the Te Araroa Trail, so great for backpackers.

Seafarers is ideal for those that want peace and quiet, away from the crowds and are happy to sit back, enjoy the scenery and listen to nature at it's best! The car is at your own risk, drivers must have a full license, $50 a day which includes your petrol, no need to refuel before you leave.

Robbie's Accommodation consists of two absolute beachfront studio units located only 65m from the high tide mark, boasting fresh modern décor, a kitchenette with tea and coffee, fridge and toaster, (NO COOKING), but great cafes and restaurants nearby. You can surf right to your door step on one of NZ's longest waves, or watch the boats come in and relax enjoying the stunning sea views of Taramea Bay.
