The Gladstone is a frontier style cabin that will sleep 6, located on 160 acres behind a secure gate. A large parking area for vehicles or RV's, a fire pit/grill, firewood, outdoor shower, and outdoor plumbing. The property is surrounded by Crown land open for your enjoyment. The area boasts fantastic opportunities for fishing, hiking, viewing wildlife, mountain biking, or using your ATV. Some areas of the property are posted as private (more info in House Rules) Guests are encouraged to ask us about any concern and for information on hiking, fishing etc. Wildlife viewing tours can be arranged upon request. You will be staying on the historic site of Glen Robinson B.C. a town established to support the many gold and silver mines that dotted the surrounding mountains in the late 1800's. The property is surrounded by Crown Land and is the only freehold parcel remaining from the 900 acres originally surveyed for the town-site. Hundreds of kilometers of roads and trails to explore with whatever moves you. Horses, 2 wheel drive, 4 wheel drive, mountain bike or ATV. Glen Robinson is off the grid so be prepared to unplug. Guests should ensure they have appropriate seasonal clothing for the outdoors, insect repellent, first aid kit etc. Encountering wildlife is common and bear spray or bear bangers are recommended to have on hand. Guests will receive specific wildlife information during check-in.

Fully stocked gourmet equipped kitchen including rice, pasta seasoning, excellent selection of pots, pans, dutch ovens, casserole dishes, knives as a gourmet kitchen should be. This 3 bedroom home, upstairs only, has 3 bedrooms (2 king, 1 queen or two twin beds depending on configuration you set up). 2 bathrooms with walk in showers in each. Situated on the Lake in Okanagan there are two decks off the house, both covered each with a firebowl to warm cooler evenings.
