Smoko Sanctuary

Enjoy this 40 acre sanctuary of riparian forest, cradled by Smoko and Homeward Bound Creeks. A harbour for Blue gum, Manna, Mountain and Swamp gum in the wet gullies, and drooping Sheoaks and Peppermints on the dry faces. You will see that the cabin is nestled amongst the north east border of ‘Smoko Bowl’ - a natural unique catchment feature, offering harbour to flora and fauna. Take some time out with your pets, and enjoy the forest, or use as a launching platform for MTB, hikes and adventures.

Wilderness Cabin #3

The cabin is an open space with double bed, kitchenette and lounge, with views of rolling pastures, mountains & wildlife in abundance. Kitchenette is simple, yet adequate for simple cooking. There is a small gas stove, fridge, kettle, toaster and rice cooker. The cabins do not have their own bathroom or toilet, these amenities are an easy 2 min walk from the cabin. While there is no Wi fi in the cabins, it is available in the main house. A fireplace heats the cabin during colder weather.

Little Bogong

Little Bogong offers a comfortable and private hide-away for one or two couples seeking peace and solitude. Enjoy spectacular outlook to Victoria’s high mountains. The set-up includes a brand new second bathroom and laundry off the main downstairs living area to accompany the quality queen-sized sofa bed. Set on two hectares of steep landscaped grounds, the unique site will take your breath away with its native plantings, visiting kangaroos, native birds, and private outdoor dining space.

New Cosy Cabin 15 min drive from Mount Hotham

Cabaña Gris - cosy convenience! 5-min walk from pubs, cafes, and 200 meters from the bus stop to Hotham. Upstairs, discover a queen bed, bathroom, and a void offering views of the living space below. You'll find another luxurious queen bed hidden on the wall downstairs in the living room. There's electric heating in the entry/ mudroom to dry all your gear, another in the living and one upstairs. BYO fire wood to get the wood heater cranking. Separate Laundry with second toilet. 2 car parks.

THE MILLS REST

The Victorian High Country's wondrous landscapes, Delatite River, plus epic mountains & terrains- whether by foot, bike, ski or dirt-bike await. The Mills Rest is a stay ready to entertain you & up to 11 others. An indoor cosy fireplace to keep you warm after a day on the snow, or in summer, a rear deck with BBQ, as you sit and watch the magical sunset. Perfect for families, couples or groups of friends.

Avalon House: The Mine Managers

The Mine Managers Suite at Avalon House has some of the original timber wall panelling dating back to 1889 giving it old word charm whilst upgraded modern amenities make it a warm and comfortable private apartment for two. This was the residence of Thomas Davey who managed the Harrietville Gold Company till the great depression in the 20’s. With a private pet friendly courtyard, it is in the centre of town walking distance to Cafes, Parks, Rivers, Pubs and all Harrietville has to offer.

Riverview Retreat

Blake's Hut

The Hut is located a short drive from Swifts Creek on the Great Alpine Road, alongside the beautiful Tambo River. It is an authentic property restored in 2020 on Woodlands farm. The cattle farm itself spans 1,800 acres across the Tambo Valley. Our unique and remote location means that it's the perfect place to unwind, relax and recharge. We are located an hour from Dinner Plain & Mount Hotham as well as a stone’s throw from the Tambo River, Mitta Mitta and Cobungra Rivers.

Cortes Cabin

Welcome to ‘Cortes Stays’. Newly built off-grid cabin nestled by the Ovens River on our 100 year old Walnut Grove. Bathe outside in the outdoor bath, or use the purpose built steps that will take you down to the river's edge. Wander around the farm and over to another swimming spot, where you’ll find kayaks and a canoe for you to use. A large window at the end of the bed allows you to stargaze at night or watch the water flow by as you rest and charge your batteries.

Pete's Alpine Studio 3

Comfortable and eclectic, this self contained one bedroom studio (one of three) has been built almost entirely from recycled materials. Located at Alpine Ridge, in the heart of the high country and just 4 kilometres from the base of Mt Buller, it is perfectly located for exploring this pristine area. Suitable for people who love the mountains and everything that goes with it. Two other studios are also available.

GRAY WOLF Dinner Plain

Our cosy chalet Gray Wolf is situated in the picturesque Dinner Plain Alpine Village Resort. This stay is perfect for a small family, 2xcouples or friends who just want to hike in summer or ski/board/XC all day in winter! Gray Wolf is clean, warm and cosy. Please note, we now offer Starlink internet. Antenna TV is NO LONGER available in the village as of April 2025. We will consider furbabies on request. ;)

Hilltop Hideaway

Neat, Rustic Cabin/Caravan Take a break and unwind at this peaceful bush cabin a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle. Cobungra offers great fishing and bush walks. Nestled in between Mount Hotham 30km away where you will find great hiking, 4wd tracks and Omeo 20km away where you will find an historical township that offers fishing and newly built mountain bike trails.
