Langwell Bothy

Langwell Bothy has two rooms with vestibule entrance where modest coffee/tea bar is set up. There is a microwave, kettle, toaster and small refrigerator, including a sink, NO COOKER. Main bedroom has view over to Hoy island. The second room has a double bed/couch. (If 2 guests & need 2 beds, please message this) There is a shower room/toilet/sink (wet room) accessible only from the second room. The second room has two views over looking the main house garden and views towards Stromness.

Khyber Cottage on Khyber Pass dates back to the late 1800's, set in central Stromness conservation area. This quaint stone cottage with south facing garden is seconds from the cobbled streets with all its old town charm, shops, pubs and restaurants. Parking is close by, approximately 80m up the lane. Khyber Cottage has a sunlit sitting room above the bedroom and bathroom which are accessed by a unique spiral staircase. We can welcome one well behaved dog to the upstairs area of the cottage.

New Horries is situated in the east of the Orkney Mainland (main Island), about 12 miles from KIrkwall, in the parish of Deerness, which is almost an Island accessible via a natural causeway (open all year round) between the meeting of the North Sea and North Atlantic Ocean to the south and by Deer Sound to the north. The property - an amalgam of Local, modern, ground floor set into the hill, and traditional Norwegian - and was designed and built by the owners, completed in 2011.
