Can walk, run or bike to local trails or stay and walk the trail around the pond, have campfires outside in firepit! Cleaned by me, no crazy rules. Surrounded by nature! Private Great WIFI! Close to ski resorts, dispensaries and amazing Berkshires!

Welcome to our secluded mid-century cabin nestled in the foothills of the Berkshires in Northwestern CT! When you stay here you'll find over three private acres of ferns, forests, wild flowers and a native trout brook a stone's throw from the backdoor with your private hot tub to relax in. Beyond the brook are hundreds of acres of state forest preserve. Enjoy great hiking, fishing, skiing, antiques and restaurants minutes away. Only 2 hours from NYC and 8 minutes to Historic Norfolk Center.

Just Be Cabin

Small, rustic cabin in the woods behind our home. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Drinking and cooking water are provided from a hand pumped container. The cabin is a beautiful place to slow down, connect to nature and one's self. If you love to camp, you will love the cabin. It is the perfect locale for a personal retreat. We are happy to arrange a yoga class at our home studio as well. It is like a tree house, where all are welcome to come, simplify life and just be.

The Upstate A is a 3 bedroom + sleeping loft, 2.5 bathroom A-frame set on a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of the Hudson Valley. Built in 1968, it was fully renovated in 2020-2021. Staying here you’ll experience a cozy yet modern vibe, immersed in nature but with all the accoutrements of an upscale stay. This is the perfect country getaway in a serene wooded setting yet close to town. Great for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). A large deck and yard provide great views of the outdoors. This house is privately set but only a short walk to an inviting shared swim pond, meadow & trails. Area attractions include great hiking, skiing, restaurants, breweries, stores and markets. Near Great Barrington & Hudson and all the Berkshires and Hudson Valley have to offer.

Our incredible 4-bedroom home is situated on 2 beautiful secluded acres in picture perfect Monterey - the quintessential Berkshire County getaway, with modern kitchen, screened porch, 2 fireplaces a fabulous outdoor hot tub and a beautiful brook on the property. Enjoy hiking the Appalachian Trail in nearby Beartown State Forest or kayaking and swimming in the incomparable Lake Garfield. We are a quick ride to Ski Butternut, Catamount, Tanglewood, Lenox and Great Barrington.

Blackberry Cottage

Enjoy our peaceful (pet friendly) home, just a short drive to the center of Norfolk. Great for friends and/or family visits. Board games, puzzles and books inside for all; fire pit outside. Front & side decks, are perfect for relaxing. Access great cafes, shops & cultural delights in Norfolk. The nearby Ellen Battell Stoeckel Estate hosts Yale's Summer Chamber Music Concert series. It’s a home, not a hotel. I think you’ll love it!

The Ancram A - Luxury Mid-Century Modern Cabin
