Charming, sustainable cottage in rural Tauranga.

In the heart of Tauranga's peaceful countryside lies this classic lockwood one bedroom cottage. Kereru cottage is located adjacent but completely separate to our family home on a 1.75ha property. Ask to feed the sheep and the chickens with us or take a tour of our organic vege garden and home fruit orchard. We’re pleased to now be providing locally sourced milk and our own organic eggs. They both pair beautifully with bread , muesli and a hot coffee from our coffee machine for your breakfast.

Kingfisher cottage -outdoor bath, fire, sauna

King fisher cottage is a tranquil eco cottage set on the rivers edge of 11 acres of wild farmland and beautifully landscaped gardens that offer total privacy. The cottage has a semi-outdoor bath for bathing while star gazing, a kitchenette, living area & bedroom. There is no wifi & minimal phone reception, the perfect place to get away and unwind an enjoy nature. PLEASE NOTE: June through to September the track is too soft for a car so you need to park in the carpark and walk 40m to cottage.

Our place is in a quiet cul de sac with easy parking, we are close to the beach & Bayfair Mall. You have the entire downstairs area, which includes large bedroom, large lounge with sofa bed & TV (Netflix), fabulous bathroom with free standing bath & newly renovated kitchenette/laundry. The place is perfect for couples, families (with kids), solo adventurers & business travellers. Space also benefits from a lovely north facing garden & deck area with BBQ all perfect for alfresco dinning.

Wainui River Glamping

A cute private glamping set-up nestled in the trees alongside the Wainui River. Here, you'll have a well-equipped outdoor kitchen with power, a cosy cabin with a comfy queen-sized bed, a hot outdoor shower and bath. Explore the beautiful Wainui river on our two-person kayak or curl up with a book and do absolutely nothing at all. There are also plenty of hikes in the area. Pets (inc horses) are welcome.
