This is a beautiful shepherds hut that has everything you need to relax and unwind. It is fully set up with all you will need from pots and pans to washing up liquid. There is a composting toilet to the side of the hut no shower. This is a stunning part of the country with so many beautiful natural walks and views. Please note this is not suitable for anyone with low mobility due to slight walk from vehicle to the hut and stairs to access the accommodation No showers or bathroom Two adults only

The perfect base to unwind in the great outdoors, surrounded by the spectacular countryside of the White Peak, with breathtaking hill walks straight out of the door. The most popular route being ‘The Dragons Back’. Buxton, the local historic spa town, is just a 15 minute drive or 60 minute walk. There are a handful of local villages - Earl Sterndale, Hollinsclough, Longnor and Hartington that are all relatively close. The perfect place for hikers, bikers, or simply for a relaxing getaway.

There are 2 great local pubs in the village, both offering a fantastic range of food & drink. You'll find some beautiful footpaths to explore through the field gate. A quirky self-catering shepherd's hut in the Peak District close to the village of Hathersage with stunning views towards Stanage Edge. This shepherd's hut, situated on a working farm, sleeps two people in a king size bed with separate shower room. Kitchen facilities with toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge, 2-ring hob. The Shepherds Hut is nestled in our walled garden. It has all you need for a relaxing break including lovely views, wood burning stove, bathroom, mini kitchen and a comfy bed area. The clever design allows both a dining table with chairs or comfy seating to relax by the wood burner. Our biofuel hot tub can be hired for your stay. Meet our animals whilst wandering our fields or walk from the property in to Dimmingsdale & Alton village. We’re a 5 minute drive to Alton Towers.
