Driftwood Cottage, Gower. A perfect beach getaway

Driftwood cottage is a compact and beautiful detached 18th century stone cottage, set in it's own small garden and based in the idyllic hamlet of Cwm Ivy in North Gower. A magical walk from the property leads through the Whitford National Nature Reserve to both Whitford Sands and Broughton Bay (both are within half a mile). The Gower peninsular offers an array of beautiful coastal walks, open grasslands, woodland and marsh walks. It also boasts some of the most spectacular beaches in the UK.

New barn conversion. I have tried to maintain the character. The decor is Agri/industrial, reusing as much of the raw materials around the farm. It has three king-size beds all on-suite. 1 x Very large bedroom upstairs with sofa and balcony and 2 smaller ground floor bedrooms. Each room has a TV and wifi. The main living room includes a kitchen, a table, a large L-shaped sofa and coffee table: an outdoor table and chairs, BBQ and a covered area for storing bikes and a EV Charger (50p/kw) etc.

Easy parking outside. Large TV. Free Wi fi. Attractive yard/garden area. Dogs welcome. Pet fee £40 per stay - extra pets £15 each.

The Old School House is a welcoming and beautifully presented cottage brimming with quality fixtures and fittings, where every effort has been made to retain as much history and character as possible. The Gower Hotel is just a stones throw away and the cottage is within walking distance of the delightful South Gower village of Bishopston. With two thriving village pubs, a well-stocked local supermarket and also well positioned for the 'off the beaten track' beaches of Pwll Du and Brandy Cove.

Hideaway Cottage - explore beautiful South Wales

Newly refurbished in the perfect location to explore South Wales. We are a dog friendly cottage with a fully fenced (6ft+) secure garden. With the Loughor Estuary and the Wales Coastal Path within walking distance. Situated close to the Gower, with a number of beautiful beaches and coastal walks. An hour's drive to the Brecon Beacons National Park with its amazing hills, forests and waterfalls. About an hour and a half drive leads to both Tenby and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Old School Manor - The Lodge

The Lodge is set in a one acre site enclosed by a 5ft high wall, and away from the main road providing a safe, relaxing and quiet environment. The Lodge is well placed, within 10 minutes of The National show caves for Wales, Henrhyd waterfall and the hugely impressive Four Waterfalls country. In addition, if you want to get high, the property is located only 15 minutes from Zip World and 30 minutes from Pen Y Fan. If you prefer beaches we are 30 minutes from Swansea bay and the Mumbles.

The 150 year old cottage is up a quiet lane above the town of Burry Port. Guests love the view across the bay to the Gower and the peaceful country setting - with mature private garden, terrace & BBQ. There is wi-fi, Sky TV and a cosy dining room with a log burner for the colder days (logs provided). It’s close to the beach at Pembrey & the attractions of the Carmarthenshire countryside. No 2 Cathelyd Colliery Stables is a dog friendly property renovated from a pit pony stables. Next door, No 1 is slightly smaller and can be booked separately on Airbnb. There are walks on the doorstep being next to the Cwm Clydach bird reserve and the cottage has its own private valley walk with a waterfall. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, Gower and the Brecon Beacons. The Swansea Cycle path is on the doorstep. The town is a mile away.

Our Holiday Home is modern, cozy, benefits of SKY/wifi along with many other extras and definitely a home-from-home experience on our Gower Coast of natural beauty. It sleeps 6 plus availability of a travel cot if needed. Well behaved pets (2) also provided for. There is a log burner and starter packs are provided free from October to March. The garden is secure and backs onto the estuary where stunning sunsets and tidal changes can be photographed and watched.
