Experience the ultimate getaway in our off-grid Shepherd's Huts next to Barlwyd Lake. Wake up to breathtaking views of Ffestiniog's mountains, quarries, and valleys. The Byre - secluded retreat with incredible views

Originally built in the mid 1600’s, The Byre was converted from a cow shed to a dwelling in the mid 1980’s. It has recently undergone a full refurbishment to bring it up to date. We are surrounded by 15,000 acres of forests, perfect for walking and cycling. A maximum of 2 dogs are welcome and we ask that dogs are not allowed on the soft furnishings or on the beds. Please make sure that you check your dogs in when making your reservation as a fee of £20 is applicable.

Traditional Grade 2 listed farm house dating back to the 18th century, has been recently restored to its former glory with a tradition but also modern feel. Four spacious bedrooms with 1 of them with a king size double bed, including a en suite, a double bed, single bedroom and another bedroom with a 3/4 bed. A large family bathroom with a roll top bath and large shower separate, two living rooms, dinning room, kitchen, utility room and downstairs bathroom .

So just park up, then relax in the wood fired hot tub for 2 and forget about your worries, just listen to nature around you and at night enjoy the dark skies
