You are welcome to our traditional Bedouin home located to the village Uum Sayhoun. Our village is located very close to ancient city of Petra and it's a perfect place to explore the real Bedouin life. Feel safe to walk around the village, meet the local people, interact with them and learn about our stories, history and culture. My family and I will be your host and we will provide you with any help or advice you need. You can join with us traditional meals, shisha, tea, music and dance.

Petra bedouine culture house

We are a local homestay located in Uum Sayhoun, a little village next to Petra. We are located 2.5 km away from the main entrance of Petra and only a 5 minute walk from the second entrance. Me and my husband are both from bedouin families, who originally lived in the Caves before Petra became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. Our families were moved to the village where we lived ever since. We provide communal space, bathroom with hot shower, a shared kitchen and prepared meals, tours.

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Welcome to our home. To the Bedouin village of Umm Sayhoun, created in 1985, when most of the local Bedouins left the caves of Petra. My Bedouin husband, Salah, and I would love to show you a local experience. You will be no more than 2.5 kilometers from the main entrance of Petra. We can organize different guiding tours and transportation, but you are close enough to walk to Petra and explore as well.

Stay in 3000 yr old cave in Petra

Have a once in a lifetime experience staying in a Nabataean cave, hand carved over 3000 years ago. Located on top of a hill in complete quietness, you can oversee the mountains of Petra that invite to enjoy the sunrise and sunset just amongst yourselves. You will be provided Breakfast in the cave. You will hear interesting stories from the daily life of a bedouin growing up in the midst of Petra.

It's a room based at Town Season Hotel on the basement floor. Located on the city center of Wadi Musa within 1 Km from the Petra Visitor Center. The Restaurant and the Coffee Shop are on the terrace of the 4th floor. The room have Wi-Fi access, tea and coffee making facilities, television and air conditioning. The bathroom is well equipped with bath/shower, hair dryer and complimentary toiletries.

Villa Maria Petra

Private two bedroom villa situated in a farm, Our villa is surrounded with different types of trees where you can enjoy green nature with your beloved ones . We also have a private pool which is cleaned continuously. the villa is equipped by air conditioner, cooking stuff and everything you need during your stay in Petra. Nescafe and tea are free service, as the towels and bathroom products.

small bed and breakfast/ agriturismo runned by a family with 6 rooms, simple, clean and located in a quiet area away from the bustle of the town and tourist center. ideal for lovers of fresh and homemade products IMPORTANT: -we are NOT a 5*hotel - several cats outside the structure and two inside the property therefore not ideal for those with allergies
