Taken it’ s name from the field of oregano –aromatic plant- located behind the house, it, also, offers an experience of agricultural activities such as gardening or harvesting your own fruits and vegetables. The Domicilechania "Venetian Residence" was built in the14th century and is known as the Venetian Rectors Palace. It was also used as the Treasury and the Archives of the Venetian administration.
