The Tower, Thornton Castle

Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. A bothy bedroom in the heart of the Cairngorms

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

Situated on the banks of the River Ness, Wee Ness Lodge is centrally located for all the amenities Inverness has to offer including shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and tourist attractions which are all within walking distance. Wee Ness Lodge’s luxurious interior is decked out in natural materials and fabrics influenced by the Highland landscape. The guest house has a double bed with en suite with a separate living area, with sofa, TV and table for 2. The sofa pulls down to provide a small bed, but we recommend this is for a 1 or 2 small children, or if someone can't sleep/partner snores!
