Big Oak Cabin - Mountaintop lodging in the Ozarks

Big Oak Cabin is a split-level, 2 bedroom, 2 bath house, with 2 separate living rooms. Situated on 5 acres high in the Ozarks, the house is much larger than it looks from the picture, with a large front porch and west-facing rear deck overlooking a pond and splendid sunsets. Only a few miles from the Buffalo River and hiking trails, half a mile from Cliff House Restaurant and five miles south of the quaint town of Jasper. Conveniently located on Hwy 7, Big Oak is a place of quiet Ozark peace.

Our secluded cabin sits on a mountainside between Ponca and Jasper, near the Buffalo River. The cabin has 3 bedrooms (2 upstairs each with queen bed, one downstairs w queen bed & twin bunkbed, 2 twins in entry, 1 futon upstairs), two remodeled bathrooms, central AC/heat, WIFI, Roku TV, small deck with charcoal grill, large dining room table & lots of windows. 2 miles from Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, 2 miles from Steel Creek, 4 miles from Ponca, 5 miles from Kyle's Landing, 9 miles from Jasper.

Steve's Place is a one of a kind rustic cabin sitting on 33 acres just 10 minutes from the Buffalo National River at Ponca and 3 Miles from the Compton Trailhead. This is our second cabin here at Bluff Point in addition to our home. You will have a peaceful, private, secluded feel with nice scenery and plenty of places to explore if you wish. Built in 1996 from reclaimed cypress from a 100 year old New Orleans home. This cozy little tiny house, only 600 sq ft, sits on a 5 acre property in the Ozarks. It shares the property with BelleRose Cottage. It is Six miles from the Buffalo River access for canoeing and swimming at the majestic Steel Creek.
