We are located about 10 minutes north of downtown Moscow, close to popular hiking and mountain biking trails. You will be in our above-garage studio with a designated parking spot and a peekaboo view of the Palouse. The studio is most comfortable for just two people, but there is an extra queen foam mattress and bedding for the floor if needed. Come enjoy mountain beauty and solitude, minutes from town! 20 min to Moscow-Pullman airport 25 min to WSU 15 min to UI Dogs welcome. Sorry, no cats.

Plenty of restaurants in town but the Cottage has a full kitchen. Perfect for those looking for a quiet place to stay near the center of things. No smoking or pets.

Our private MountainVista guesthouse is your ideal starting point whether you are attending a university event or exploring the Palouse country. This sweet little cottage is nestled amongst trees in the back yard of the main house and is definitely full of character. We were told the outbuilding started out as a chicken coop and, over time, it morphed into a people coop. If you’re looking for perfection you will not find it here. What you will find is a comfy little place with a feeling of being in the woods.

Restored 1909 Train Carriage on 145 Acres

Stay in a restored 1909 train car, with a sauna and hot tub. Set amid forest and wheat fields with beautiful views. Spectacular night skies and lots of solitude round out the experience. This car ran on the Washington Idaho & Montana Railway from 1909 until around 1955. It was, (and is), car number 306, bought new from the American Car and Foundry Co.
