Hillview Highland Cows-Nestled on a small ridge Hillview Dairy circa 1887 overlooks the stunning escarpment of Mt Tallebudgera, Currumbin Creek and the farming Valley landscape. Over a hundred years the Old Dairy Bales has sat as part of the fabric of a thriving Dairy Farm in the spectacular Gold Coast Hinterland. On street parking available just outside. Ideal for single travellers or couples but no cats or dogs in Koala Beach.

Peaceful creek and ocean beach access. 200m walk to surf beach. 35 minutes from Tweed Rail Trail. This rail trail is accessible from Burringbar, Mooball or Murwillumbah which are all less than 35 minutes from Rene's Cottage. There are pelicans, herons, osprey and marine animals. Can comfortably accommodate 2 adults. Whale watching June >> November. All cooking equipment, bed linen and towels supplied. Kayaks and crab pots; no extra, but no pets. Check in time 2pm. Check out time is 10am.

This scenic spot is great for family activities including walking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Walk to children's playground and swimming area at the mouth of the creek. Only a 20 minute drive or bus from Gold Coast airport and Tweed City and just over half an hour drive to popular Byron Bay.
