Quiet Ocean Front Beach House

Welcome to Our Friends Beach House on beautiful Lang Bay looking out to the Malaspina Strait on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. We are 12 km south of Powell River and 15 km north of the Saltery Bay ferry terminal. You can also fly into Powell River on Coastal Air and rent a car at the airport. This comfortable quiet A-frame cabin sleeps 4, one bedroom with a queen bed and a spiral staircase leading to a queen bed in the loft. There is a full size kitchen with pots, pans, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and some spices supplied. There is a full size washer and dryer and BBQ as well. There is a TV, movies, books, games and puzzles. Wifi internet is also available. Watch the salmon swim up the creek to the spawning channel and observe the blue herons, ducks, geese and many other birds as they float over and swim in the bay. Relax on the deck as you listen to the song birds and watch the eagles soar. Snuggle by the wood stove as you watch a movie and relax in your own private cabin. You need only bring your clothes and food. Everything else is supplied. There is a golf course 10 minutes away and the town of Powell River is 20 minutes away. There are 3 major grocery stores as well as a major department store and many specialty shops and local businesses. There are many fresh water lakes as well as hiking and biking trails, scuba diving and chartered fishing trips in the area. There are many local artists in the area too.

Bayside cottage is a beautiful home located by the Salish Sea offering an extremely private setting. A stroll to Lund Harbour which is the gateway to world class boating, fishing and Marine Provincial Park including shops and restaurants. The home features luxury amenities such as a private hot tub, a large patio with a gas firepit, BBQ, and outdoor shower. The home offers a EV charger for those that need to charge up and be ready for next the day’s adventure. Plenty of parking including a boat!

An abundance of natural light warms the fully equipped kitchen, dinning area and living room with wood burning fireplace. The cottage opens to an expansive patio ideal for enjoying meals and relaxing to the sound of the waves. The Cottage provides full access to the natural splendor of ocean front living while maintaining the privacy of a sanctuary. May to September

Little Bear Cabin

My place is the perfect place for a quiet, family getaway. It is secluded, surrounded by trees, the ocean is nearby, many lakes and hiking trails to choose from too. There is enough sleeping space for two small families, including a two bedroom cabin plus a sleeping bunkie that sleeps 4. It's not luxury, its a no frills cabin in a quiet setting, with a wood burning hot tub, a cold tub, bbq and a fire pit. It’s small, fully serviced, wifi, tv, 2-bedroom cabin set in the woods in Pender Harbour.

Walk a few minutes down to our private beach where you can play in the sand strip, beachcomb for geoducks, crabs and starfish , watch sea life or use the firepits. Explore the lakes, golf courses, trails, or walk to Bowser Village. Hike the old growth forest beside a creek right across from our cabin! Cedar Cottage near the Sea

Our cottage is a cozy little "get away" for couples or a single person, situated on .6 acres of park like setting , quiet and restful, near host's home and across from the beach a few minutes walk away. Close by: Kingfisher Resort and Spa is a 5 minute drive away for pampering yourself with a good meal or spa treatments. Mt Washington Alpine Resort is 45 minutes away for skiing cross country or downhill in the winter, and hiking in the summer. Seaside swimming, reading and relaxing!
