Comfortable cosy cottage beside Mt Ruapehu. Ideal for bikers, Tongariro Crossing hikers or photographers exploring the local scenery. Independent so you can come and go at will. Full kitchen (though basic with retro fridge and no dishwasher), TV, DVDs and Chromecast, unlimited wifi, laundry, heating & aircon. One double room and one room with 2 singles (that can push together), plus a couch bed in the living room and a travel cot. From mid-May to Oct book 'Shannon Cottage (winter)' instead.

Hi - I offer a warm, welcoming, sunny space with everything you need. A modern kitchen and bathroom provide a comfortable family set up with a lounge area leading to the pool. Please note that the nightly rate is for up to 4 people and includes breakfast. There are 3 bedrooms ideally suited to 5 guests however having 2 singles in one room allows for 6 if required. This can be reconfigured to a queen and a single in the largest bedroom allowing more space in the single room, if preferred.

Walk the world famous Tongariro Crossing and discover the cycle ways, kayak the Whanganui River and explore the 'Bridge to No Where'. Try trout fishing, a game of golf or visit the Waiouru Army Museum. Enjoy our cosy home with a wood fire whilst taking in the amazing mountain and rural views.
