Shadows hut, your backcountry, offgrid retreat. located just 5km from National park village, Shadows Hut is a prime location for exploring the beautiful Tongariro National Park. The hut is situated on a 1/4 acre lifestyle block. It runs on solar power, spring water and good vibes! It is a basic backcountry hut. The property boosts a cosy fire, cast iron bathtub, twin shower, comfy bed queen bed and single bunk. Furry friends are most welcome! Shadows hut, your adventure base awaits!

The Tiny Escape

Rakau's Rest

In CHB for work or visiting friends or family, this self contained cabin would suit you. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, stove and all kitchen utensils for preparing meals. It's small but relaxing. No animals sorry. You have your own covered deck and private area. Host lives on the property also. Just off SH2 there is parking out the front on the roadside for trucks or bring your car in as you have your own off street parking. There is a local 4 Square and fish and chip shop.

Totara Croft, a stargazers dream

A new 30 sq m cabin, views from every angle looking out at cows, sheep & valley below. Wake to birdsong. An old Totara forest behind the cabin to admire the views & watch the Kereru & other native birds. 15 mins to Feilding, Vinegar Hill, 20 mins to Kimbolton (Cross Hill Gardens) or 30 mins to Apiti. Continental breakfast supplied, along with tea, coffee, sugar etc. Large deck to sit and enjoy the views over the valley below. Plenty of parking for a trailer if required.
