Y Guddfan - The Hideaway. Modern two bedroom cottage sat on the western slopes of The Garth with views for miles. Ideal location for walkers and those looking for a quiet break, but with easy access to Cardiff, the Brecon Beacons and the beaches of South Wales. Many of our guests stay for just one night to attend an event at the Principality Stadium, a wedding or a night at Acapela Studio. Almost all of these guests tell us they wish they'd booked two nights - it's worth giving it some thought!

A beautiful cosy self contained private hideaway set in the beautiful mountains of Llanwonno. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and horse riders, Or just a relaxing place to just chill out. The fabulous brynfynnon pub and restaurant set in the mountains is absolutely wonderful. You can take a hike along the forestry , cycle or drive to eat from their 5* menu. The pub's bar accepts well behaved dogs, so both you and your 4 legged friend can relax together in a friendly, relaxed environment.

The Cosy Cwtch - hidden gem!

Ask a Welsh person what a ‘cwtch’ is and they’ll give you a smile – because a cwtch is evocative – if you give someone a cwtch, you're figuratively giving them a ‘safe place’. Our cwtch is a quiet, self-contained double bedroom with en-suite shower & loo. We provide tea & coffee making facilities with a toaster too! The Cosy Cwtch is situated on ground floor level at the back of our cottage with its own entrance. On street parking available, along with free bikes to use if required.

James' Place @ Brynawel - Blue Room

Flexible accommodation to suit your needs. At James' Place we can offer you either a double room or 2 fully equipped studios with the added benefit of your own kitchen. Expect quality affordable accommodation that suits you. Brynawel is a beautiful Victorian house next to Thomastown Park and has stunning views over the Merthyr valley. Brynawel is a very short walk to Merthyr Tydfil town centre, the train and bus station, but far enough away for you to have a peaceful retreat.

‘Coed Cwtch’. Lovely self contained private room.

This prime location guest room has everything that is needed for a short stay. Set in a residential area its convenient for work related stays and leisure. Jo is a registered dog walker and if needed, could mind your dog during the day (extra charges will apply). Pencoed is a 20 minute drive from the nearest beach, 20 minute drive from Cardiff City Centre and 40 minutes from Swansea. Beautiful local walks, scenery, shops and beaches just a short drive away.

"Ty Bach Melyn" Parking & Private Courtyard

A delightful, pleasant and spacious one bedroom bungalow/annex in a peaceful location with own car parking and privacy. Convenient location, 10 min walk into the town centre where you’ll find lots of lovely restaurants and pubs. Close to large supermarkets and M4. Bridgend is located in the middle of Cardiff and Swansea, so ideal for working and getaways as close to local beaches, walking, cycling routes & shopping at the designer outlet.

Gwyn Lodge

A self contained bungalow comprising of a bathroom with a bath and a shower, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen diner including a washing machine, iron with ironing board, an electric cooker, microwave and a fridge freezer. A spacious bedroom with a double bed and a suitable laptop work space / dressing table with a hairdryer. The bungalow is well situated on the grounds of our main house and has off road parking is available.

Private spacious self contained 1 bedroom home with free parking right outside on the premises. We now have a Z-bed so the other guest doesn't have to share. Contactless check-in but you are very welcome to knock on the door and say hello. 1 double bedroom with mountain views, large lounge / dining room and self contained kitchen. Private gardens with patios only 5 mins from MacArthur Glen Retail Park and Sainsburys supermarket.
