We are close to Jay Peak and Canada including Montreal. If you like hiking, the Long Trail is close by. If you like star gazing you will love seeing the Milky Way in our backyard. Our house is good for both couples and families. We have a private hiking trail that leads down to a cool mountain stream where you can cool off. Take a dip in the nearby Hippie Hole or go fishing or canoeing in nearby lake Carmi. There are three bedrooms and a master bath with a spa tub. Wifi, fireplace and more.

Our apt house is located just 2 miles from the Canadian Border, only 17 miles to Jay Peak Ski resort and just a 5 minute drive into town. The experiences, views and amenities around are endless! You can explore Hiking trails, Kayak, Canoe or Fish right in the back yard as we are apart of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail! You can take a drive down scenic back roads, peddle down local bike paths, visit the many beautiful lakes, family farms, local pubs and restaurants and enjoy our peak seasons!

And you won’t regret kicking back in the evenings - star gazing is simply magical! We are certain that you’ll have a hard time leaving!

Updated farmhouse built in 1860 located 8mi. from Jay Peak, in the heart of the village of Montgomery Center. There’s a bar/ restaurant & supermarket across the street but only the Trout River & forest out back. Easy access to skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and a quick walk to a great swimming hole. One of a few places locally with access to fast internet (Gigabit). The house, now solar powered, sleeps 6-8 and is spacious, well insulated, and well furnished. 8 people + 2 infants max.

A Scandinavian cabin where floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping views across Vermont’s Green Mountains and the Missisquoi River Valley. Maison Alice is one of two thoughtfully positioned cabins on our four-acre hillside, each with its own entrance and outdoor living spaces. This is a place where it’s easy to slow down. Some mornings begin with coffee on the deck. Others with a walk through the meadow. Either way, there’s no hurry. Outside has a way of becoming part of the day.

The original structure was built over 40 years ago, and if you look closely, you’ll still see the original log walls beautifully featured as the heart of the home. Over time, the cabin has evolved, reflecting the lives and stories of those who’ve called it home — and we think that’s part of its magic.

Enjoy a restful getaway at The 1860 Farmhouse. We purchased the farmhouse in 2018 from a family that had done extensive renovations to the interior. Keeping true to its historic roots, the farmhouse offers modern amenities in a historic setting. A convenient location close to Jay Peak and Smuggler's Notch, and many Vermont and Quebec attractions within an easy drive. Swiss and Bloom wedding venue and Phoenix Manor are close by. The house is 6 bedrooms and sleeps 12 people.

Or just enjoy the porch & peaceful atmosphere!
