Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Welcome to our house. Its a lovely house in the centre of Nordkjosbotn. You can go to the supermarket, pub and restaurant. The bedroom has motive from Norway. One of the bedrooms you can have one extra bed. It’s 70 km from Tromsø. This is a place to relax and to be outside in the nature with the beautiful mountains near by. Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone with a charge of NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

Hytten inneholder : stue, toalett /dusj , kjøkken og 3 soverom. bod: inni boden er det vaskemaskin - Stor veranda hvor det er grillmuligheter å utsikt over Lyngenfjorden. Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
