Moosu Guest House and Spa, Cedar Hot Tub and Sauna

Moosu Guest House is a railroad style cabin designed for two people with 12 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom for a superb stargazing experience. The private outdoor spa features a salt water cedar hot tub and barrel sauna. Turkish spa towels and cozy robes are provided to complete the spa experience. As part of your stay you will be welcomed with a package including coffee from Nelson’s two iconic roasters Oso Negro and No6 Coffee Co, and tea from Nelson’s Virtue Tea.

Directly across from the entrance to Ainsworth Hot Springs and situated on Kootenay lake. Kick off your shoes and take in the serene view at our cozy hilltop suite. Enjoy a kitchen stocked with every comfort you expect, plus specialty coffee equipment you’ll love. Wind your way across the road and down the trail to our private sandy beach, and roast some marshmallows on the campfire while you’re there. Novelty and adventure are nearby: only 3 minutes to Nelson, 28 minutes to Whitewater Ski Hill, and 1 minute to Lyons Bluff hiking trail.

A covered garage is provided for guests to park. Beautiful deck nestled in the cedars with glimpses of the Purcell Mountain range and Kootenay Lake. Access world class mountain bike trails or walk the river trail right from the Cedar Cottage.
