Originally built in the 13th century, Jinks Cottage was home to the village cobbler (called Jinks), his wife and six children. Now carefully restored, it provides a spacious country retreat for four, plus your four-legged friends, as we’re very dog friendly!

Old Salting Barn: Brecon Beacons Historic Cottage

The Old Salting Barn dates back to the 17th Century & forms part of a charming range of old farm buildings at Llandetty Hall Farm, situated in the heart of the stunningly beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. Set in 15 acres of private pasture on the Mon Brec canal & between the villages of Talybont on Usk & Llangynidr. The barn boasts a log burner & use of the adjacent communal games barn. It uses electricity created by our solar panels & is heated by our new & efficient heat pump system.

The Welsh Gatehouse is a beautiful historic house with modern amenities. Imagine staying in a fairy tale castle built in 1270. The thick walls, ancient windows & steep spiral staircase say 'history'. In winter it’s all snuggling round the log burner with breath-taking views and wonderful walks, and in summer it’s outside living in a flower-rich meadow. Plus you will enjoy complete seclusion and peace and quiet!
