This is my favourite summer lake in all of the parks, you'll feel as if you are seeing heaven on earth as we drive through the Valley of the Ten Peaks! This experience is about wowing you all day! We'll adapt your day according to wildlife sightings, weather conditions, and traffic flow for better enjoyment. There will be Chinese style tea art demonstrations and on certain holidays Guzheng ( Chinese musical instrument) performances. Guests will choose between black tea, oolong tea, yellow tea, green tea, dark tea and scented teas from China at different tea tasting times. I have been in touch with tea since I was 10 years of age and it has always been a part of my life. I am a landscape architect and an enthusiastic tea artist. After I moved to America, my partner and husband Joseph singlehandedly built the tea house for me, according to my design. Everything including the slab table was made by Joseph over a period of two years. Now I would like to share with others this tea house full of love energy and my love of Chinese tea, the etiquette of drinking tea and interesting stories of China.

If you are looking to explore the beautiful Seattle view and get amazing pictures in the process, you should look no further. The University of Washington is a vibrant campus for a good walk and amazing pictures. It dates back to the 1890s. We will meet at the Drumheller fountain. The Sylvan Grove theater and columns are right nearby so we can get some amazing pictures then we will head to the Cherry blossoms at the quad. With the hope of clear skies, we can get the view of Mt Rainier from the red square and Drumheller fountain on the way to the cherry blossoms. We will then make our way down to the Sakuma Viewpoint to enjoy the Portage bay beach view. The experience will end after 1.5 hours and almost 2 miles, by Sakuma Viewpoint on Boat Street. Other things to note If you are driving, the best and cheapest place to park is on Boat Street where street parking is cheap and usually available. That is also where we will end our session.

We will teach you how to milk a cow. *At the beginning we allow you time to spend with the animals. Petting, brushing, or just hanging out with them. *Next we take you through what we feed our animals and how we care for them. We can talk about what goes into the cleanliness of the process and getting everything ready. *We will then go through the experience of milking the cow (whether by hand or with the machine, you decide). Allowing you to do as much of the work as you feel comfortable with. *Afterwards we will strain the milk and get it cooled and clean up. *Before you leave we will give you the opportunity to taste any of the products from our farm with the option to purchase milk at a 50% discount. *Congrats! You will have milked a cow!

While visiting the artist's studio, you learn the process of blowing glass, and basic glassblowing techniques including taking a gather, marvering, blow'n-cap, and shaping glass. The workshop is very hands-on, focused on the process instead of the final product. With experienced glass artists, you make 2 to 3 small objects such as a paperweight, ornament/float, and/or drinking glass, to take home. Glassblowing is a team work. We strongly recommend to experience this with another person. If you are solo, you may still book a spot. However, the single booker should expect to finish earlier. Best to wear a cotton top and cotton pants. Open-toed shoes are not allowed. Please bring a pair of sunglasses with you. Be prepared to be hot and sweaty, and to have fun! BYOB if you like. In the gallery, we will talk about dinosaurs found in Utah (some known exclusively from our own collections) and explore the ecosystems and adaptations that make these animals so fascinating. Inside the Paleo Lab, we will get a sneak peek at the projects that our paleontology volunteers are working on and learn about the techniques used to prepare our most recent discoveries. The tour is for adults and teens 13 years or older. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum number of participants is 10. Admission is complementary with purchase of the experience. You will arrive at Majestic View Park in Arvada, Co around 8am. You will be guided through an hour long, all levels, gentle Yoga class with the backdrop of the majestic Rocky Mountains. The class focuses on centering, stretching, balancing and a meditation at the end of practice, all in the great outdoors! Mats are provided for your convenience. Other things to note: Class canceled in inclement weather. Dress in layers for the Colorado climate. Bring your own water, hat and sunglass. Avoid eating a large breakfast prior to practice.

Thank you for considering this private photography workshop at Smith Rock State Park, one of Oregon's seven natural wonders. After meeting at the Smith Rock State Park main parking area, we will make sure we have all of the necessary supplies (water, proper shoes, camera gear, etc.) before beginning our hike. The hiking that we will do on this workshop will be catered to your photographic interests and fitness level. Whether we look to photograph rock climbers testing themselves on some of the most iconic routes in the country, the diverse wildlife of the high desert, or the rugged landscapes of Smith Rock, we will find something to excite you, regardless of your experience. After exploring the park, we will visit to the best vantage point in the park to photograph the sunset. We will cover concepts including best camera settings for different types of shots, compositional elements to look for, and how to make your images POP! Other things to note Hiking (up to 4 miles) is a part of this photography workshop. Dress accordingly and a moderate level of fitness is recommended. Murder, She Wrote fans will enjoy this walking tour of the landmarks that appeared in the hit TV show starring Angela Lansbury. You will begin at the Cabot Cove Historical Society (aka the Kelley House Museum!), then make your way to at least a dozen filming locations, including the 1888 Victorian residence of the mystery-solving character Jessica Fletcher. Visit Doc's house, the mortuary, the beauty parlor, and the famous inn where the suspects stayed. Murder, She Wrote was set in the fictional town of Cabot Cove, Maine, but Mendocino was chosen as the filming location for two reasons: the historic architecture resembles Maine’s and it was geographically much closer to Hollywood. You'll learn trivia about the show, we'll show you photos taken during filming, and we'll share the real history of the buildings you are viewing. We don't go into any of the buildings as the exteriors are what appeared in the TV show; the interiors were filmed on a set. We return to the Kelley House Museum, where you are welcome to watch our digital exhibit on Angela Lansbury.

This tour combines two of Southern Utah's most popular activities: exploring scenic slot canyons and horseback riding. First we will climb into the saddle at the stables and conduct a brief riding lesson for the inexperienced riders. No need to worry if you are a beginner, we have years of experience and reserve the best trained horses for our guests. Our ride will take us to the mouth of a beautiful slot canyon where we will dismount and walk a short distance into the canyon. Each of our members has a passion for the outdoors, animals, and wildlife. They will entertain you with facts about the ranch and the surrounding area. With the majestic Absaroka Mountains as your backdrop, learn about the land’s original inhabitants, the Crow tribe, and the local ecosystem. Be sure to bring your binoculars – and camera! – as you may have the unique opportunity to view some of Montana’s natural inhabitants, including mule deer, golden eagles, fox, elk, and more! It is the Certified Horsemanship Association’s recommendation that the weight of the rider does not exceed 20% of the weight of the horse. We can accommodate a maximum weight of 220 pounds. We ask that you meet at the Lodge 15 minutes prior to the start of the ride so that you can be given safety instructions. Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Also bring a water bottle and your sense of adventure! Finally, this trail ride is completely dependent upon weather conditions. In the event that the weather is not suitable for the ride, we will reschedule or refund your tour.
