Located in the beautiful and peaceful scenery of the Highlands of Scotland. You’ll love my place because of serenity and central location for exploring the Highlands. This is a countryside location and requires a car to travel. The nearest shop, restaurant and bus service is 2 miles away in Strathpeffer. Please remember that this is a flat that was originally a granny flat and there is some noise from the property above, please understand this if you book. Please do not book if this bothers you.

Riverside Cabin is cosy, spacious and is perfectly sitauated in its own beautifully planted garden with outdoor seating. There is one double bed, a large bathroom with electric shower, a kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge, toaster, single hob and kettle. There is WiFi avaliable in the cabin. The range is short and you will likely only get WiFi in the bedroom. There's a smart TV in the bedroom which is able to use the WiFi, and the TV in the living area will need to be used for DVDs only.

Hidden Gem, delightful log Cabin near NC500

Relax and enjoy the scenery and wildlife at this unique location, secluded amongst scots pine and birch trees with stunning views, close to the NC 500 and also right on the door step of a Corbet and a Munro for hill walking. There is a beautiful walk around the river blackwater just minutes from the cabin with falls and old bridges. Cosy bungalow in nice wee village; shops and train/bus routes. The Ground floor is included in this listing; upstairs is kept for storage. One double bed only, the listing says one bed in lounge, only sofas but I can’t correct this… There is a covered deck out the back door, great for sitting out in the rain! Good base for access to rest of NW Scotland; on the edge of the NC500, 14 miles from Inverness. Please read the house manual; note this is a quiet street and not a party house..

Garden Cottage with hot tub, castle & sea views

This charming cottage is completely unique having the old Redcastle ruin as a back drop and views of the Beauly Firth directly in front. There is an idyllic stream going through the garden and we have recently planted a wild flower meadow at the end of the garden. It has been beautifully refurbished in 2023 and we feel incredibly proud of the results. The cottage is located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle and really is an idyllic and very comfortable place to come and unwind.

Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

The property is situated in a secluded part of our garden approximately 22 meters from the main house, with stunning views onto a beautiful field and Wardlaw Mausoleum (Outlander) We are just 1 mile from the NC500 route, 8 miles from Inverness,, 4 miles from the the pretty little village of Beauly. There is an hourly bus service that runs from kirkhill which can take you to both places. Achnagairn castle is just a 5 minute walk away.
