Welcome to Charlotte’s Place in the beautiful little town of Clarens in the Orange Free State. We have made every effort to make your time with us as comfortable as possible. During your stay you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity that Clarens has to offer and which is surrounded by the beautiful Maluti Mountains. Due to load shedding we have installed an inverter for your convenience as well as a tank to supply the house with water when the towns water pumps can’t pump due to load shedding

Cozy Mountain Cottage on Historic Farm

This Luxury, fully equipped, self catering cottage sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms, each with their own entrance. Close to the village centre but far enough away to experience the tranquility of its mountain hideaway. Luxury percale linen and soft towels are provided. Heating is in each bedroom for winter nights. The open plan living area has everything you need for a home away from home holiday. A little fireplace makes for cozy winter nights and outside areas are ideal for summer evenings.

Four Good Seasons

A stunning house filled with bright, natural light. River frontage and valley and mountain views. Two sitting rooms, both with DSTV so you can have sport and cooking on at the same time! Only 6 minutes drive from The Clarens Square and 26 restaurants, yet you can unwind completely in the peacefulness of the wind and sunshine. Lovely walks. Electric blankets and wood burning fires , fully equipped kitchen, 4.5 bathrooms for 6 bedrooms including one with 4 bunk beds. It's huge but homely.

Die Koeistalle

Tucked away on the edge of Rosendal, Die Koeistalle is a lovingly restored guesthouse as old as the town itself. The open-plan living area, once a working cowshed when Rosendal was still a farm, is one of the oldest surviving buildings in town. As Rosendal came to being, the old shed was transformed into a brickworks, supplying bricks to the first houses in Rosendal. Today, its stone walls and timber beams stand beside newer additions, creating a seamless blend of heritage and comfort.

Peach Trees Cottage Clarens

A beautiful cottage surrounded by peach trees and mountains - is situated in a secluded corner of Clarens, Free State, South Africa. Peach Trees offers accommodation for two people in quiet surroundings, amazing views, while being close to the village centre. The cottage has a gas hob, under counter fridge, and ample space for cooking and braaing and a wood burning fireplace. There is a desk and free WIFI for those who may need to work or connect while away from home.

Clarens Villa Apartment

This unique place has a style all its own. One bedroom en-suite apartment joined to a main house with self catering facilities. The living area is heated by a wood burning fire place and the bedroom en-suite has an air conditioner. Braai facilities on site as well as a Smart TV with DSTV and WiFi. Two to three kms from the centre of town, on a mountain side. It is the bottom level of a three storey house but completely private and not affected by loadshedding.

On the edge of the little hamlet called Rosendal you will find Sûr where you can escape everyday life in luxury. Relax and enjoy nature amongst birdsong and nature scapes! The space Sûr is an open plan pavilion style house with unlimited mountain views offering a private nature experience Enjoy a refreshing dip in the corrugated iron dam in the garden, relax with a book or have a drink and some good food while staring at the exquisite views from the deck.

The Willows is a spacious, fully equipped, beautifully decorated cottage with a lovely open - plan lounge and kitchen area. It has two seperate bedrooms with two ensuite bathrooms. The verandah of the Willows is a special place to enjoy your holiday from as it looks out over the farm lands and beyond. The Willows is equipped with a fireplace. It has full premium DSTV.

Twin Towers: Fairview Estates

We have converted old grain silage towers into self catering accommodation. The twin towers consists of 4 storeys that is connected with a spiral staircase. The Twin Towers is beautifully decorated "tongue in the cheek" style. Very quircky indeed.
