Overlooking the breathtaking fells & situated in a small Hamlet between two towns, Marni's Cottage offers a calm space perfectly positioned for stunning walks immediately out through the front door or to be used as a base to deeper explore the Lake District, an area of outstanding beauty. To the rear of the cottage is the iconic 140 mile C2C cycle path, which can be walked & leads into the coastal town of Whitehaven. Ennerdale with its beautiful remote & deep glacial lake, is only 5 miles away.

The Carriage - A first class experience

Step back in time to this restored 1950's Pullman railway carriage, with the added luxury of 21st century amenities. The Carriage is set on tracks where the original line ran through Ullock on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, with the river Marron running below. Relive a unique journey with the addition of being able to step out onto the platform for sunbathing, breakfast or your evening meal then retire to the antique king sized bed with dressing room, ensuite and Eden toiletries.

The Drey a boutique retreat 3 miles from Ennerdale

The Drey, by Blake View holidays, is a brand new space, converted from old stables. The Drey is so called because of it's cosy "drey like" space, ideal for two and as a nod to the red squirrels you may see during your stay. The Drey has a kingsize zip and link bed, extra large shower and a cosy living room/dining area with a full kitchen to relax after a day in the fells. A charming barn converted cottage, located in the peaceful village of Mockerkin, only 2 miles from Loweswater and the old market town of Cockermouth only 5 miles away, ideally situated for easy access to the lakes & fells, yet only 20 minutes drive to the coast and the town of Keswick. An excellent base to explore all that the western lakes have to offer, and with amazing walking & cycling right from the cottage door it makes it the perfect place to make special memories with Family & Friends

Recently renovated quirky 2 bedroom miner's cottage, ideal for exploring the less well known Western Fells and glorious Cumbrian coastline. There is on street parking available in the layby across the road, and a private garden with dining area to the back of the property. Situated within walking distance of the award winning Ennerdale Craft Brewery serving locally brewed ales and home cooked food.

The Brook

The Brook is a luxury home on the fringe of the Lake District National Park between Cockermouth and Ennerdale Water. Benefitting from your own private hot tub, outdoor lounge area, separate BBQ and dining space. The Brook has everything you need for those Summer days. Or for those Cumbrian showers The Brook has high speed Wi-Fi, a kids corner complete with games and activities and complementary wine and local ale. You will have the house to yourselves - we will be far away, but contactable should you have any questions or issues. It's self check-in and check-out. There are many good and varied walks nearby, as well as scenic drives and gastro pubs. You will need to bring groceries with you - breakfast is not supplied.

West view is a luxury property located directly on Nethertown beach. It is in a tranquil area with amazing sea views. It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.

Welcome to Highside a delightful cottage set in a secluded location overlooking the tranquil village of Lorton. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.
