Head out on Angles Way and follow the Waveney river valley for an idyllic countryside stroll or take a trip to the beautiful Suffolk coast, then light the fire and curl up under the beams. Featured in a host of magazines, this bucolic abode combines period features and chic, contemporary design. Ivywood cottage is medieval in age, but contemporary in design, with luxurious finishes and fine detailing. The house is in a unique rural setting and was once part of the Gawdy Hall Estate. The house sits next to a beautiful 15th century church, set within a 3 acre church yard. Glorious and plentiful Waveney Valley walks in all directions. Guests have complete privacy and run of the house, including a private garden. We respect our guest's privacy, and are on call for any advice or assistance that you may need during your visit. The cottage is a short picturesque drive from the coastal gems of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Harleston and Bungay are quintessential English towns with charming independent stores, delis, family butchers, bistro cafes, pubs, restaurants, and tea shops. It's the countryside, most people drive. Diss is the mainline station between London and Norwich and is just 15 minutes by car. Cycling is very popular and the cottage is on a regular time trial route. Buses are very reliable and the village is well serviced making it easy to hop between Suffolk and Norfolk villages. There is fabulous walking from the cottage. Located in the Waveney Valley paths such as Angles Way which follows the Waveney river valley are right on your doorstep.

With two bedrooms (sleeping up to four people), the cottage has been designed to a high specification and offers guests great comfort and modern conveniences within an environment steeped in history. Within its stunning open plan living space, lovely bedrooms, bath and shower rooms and a gorgeous private courtyard garden, the cottage is the perfect place to holiday and explore Norfolk & Suffolk...or just retreat into.

Season ticket for the Meare boating lake (1 boat at a time, open Easter-Sept)included, a 5 min walk away. Perfect for family gatherings. Stansted airport 2 hours drive.

Self-contained accommodation overlooking the river Waveney with full kitchen, dining and lounge area (including reclining sofa, smart TV and wifi), upstairs is a double bedroom with en-suite. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This barn is situated in the 10 acres of Paradise Farm, the grounds and offerings are endless. The grounds contain heated, covered Swimming pool, Fire pit, private woodlands, private walks, playing field, lavender gardens, entertaining terraces, childrens playarea, private terrace.There are also a selection of wonderful farm animals - 3 Pygmme Goats, 3 Kune Kune Pigs and some beautiful Burford Brown Chickens who lay fresh eggs for the guests.

The Barn is within a 5 acre smallholding adjacent to Suffolk's gorgeous Heritage Coast. Approx 20 minutes drive from Suffolk treasures including: Southwold, Aldeburgh, Walberswick, Dunwich, Thorpeness and Framlingham. The oak timber framed barn has been lovingly converted with extensively equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting room with dedicated Fibre Wi-Fi, full Sky package TV, OLED TV, Alexi etc. The barn has its own garden, football pitch, play equipment, outdoor table tennis table etc.

Our small 18th century barn is the converted village forge and is perfect for any time of year - a cosy winter break by the wood burner or summer outdoors in the private cottage garden. The barn shows it's heritage with beams and vaulted ceilings, yet has a modern open plan layout.

Our beautiful little shepherds hut is ready for letting. Get away from it all and stay under the stars deep in the Suffolk countryside. Our Shepherds hut is situated in the corner of our field surrounded by hedging and stunning views. If you’re a keen cyclist there’s many different routes in the area as well as many footpaths for avid ramblers. If star gazing is your thing then we can promise you we are not affected by light pollution and if you’re lucky you’ll hear our resident owls too.
