Welcome to Velouria, our cabin in the redwoods of northern California. With a cosy loft bedroom in the main house, a romantic wood burning stove, a guest cabin located on the property and an outdoor hot tub, full kitchen surrounded by vaulted redwoods. It has everything to make your forrest retreat perfect. It's close to downtown Guerneville and many beautiful local attractions, nature trails and renown vineyards. It also has a big comfy couch and great Entertainment Center for those rainy days!

The Henhouse

The Henhouse is like a tiny resort. Tiny cabin amongst the giant redwoods. one acre of Deep forest, quiet, Hot tub tucked into the forest, Koi pond, water sounds, romantic and cozy yet so very private. The Apartment is small, so cozy and cute, 300 sq ft, low ceilings, 6 ft 1”. surrounded by 300 square foot decking. Open pattern bedroom, kitchen with additional small bedroom. Russian River is a short drive, 30 min walk or hike down the hill. Two level cabin with manager in upstairs cabin.

At the Hidden Valley Hideout, we invite you to put your worries aside and enjoy the tranquility that the giant redwoods surrounding the property create. Friends and families will love the open floorplan and indoor/ outdoor feel that this cottage in the woods provides. Tucked amongst Redwoods and ivy on the hill, our forest getaway has a magical feel. Escape the hustle, relax in the hot tub and enjoy the upgraded home. Walk down to the river or the Rio Nido Roadhouse. Downtown Guerneville and Armstrong Woods State Park are a 5 min drive. Haven in the Woods is a short drive from wine tasting rooms and a MacKenzie Northwood Golf Club. Note: Must climb stairs to the house and we do not have a TV (though have strong internet).
