The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, cooking utensils and a dining table. We are newly solar-powered therefore we are LOADSHEDDING FRIENDLY There are numerous activities including fynbos walks, trail running, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, swimming, bouldering and adventure biking.

Kapteinskloof Guest House

Kapteinskloof Guest House offers a comfortable self-catering cottage located on a smallholding between Piketberg and Veldriff. This original sandveld cottage has all the charm and character of the olden days. The cottage is detached from the main house and has all cutlery, crockery and bedding available to guests. You’ll love my place because it is on top of a mountain where you are surrounded by fruit orchids and mountains. Also, loadshedding does not affect us as we are on solar. We are only 160km from Cape town. We live right next door but do not mind a good party, all within limits of course! The dam is a short walk away where you are welcome to use the two paddle boards and canoe. The house can keep you entertained with pool table, boardgames, books, WIFI and ping pong table.
