Exotic getaway in Sobrante hills

This is Mongolian traditional yurt when we married 40 years ago, our parents built it for us. It is located in our backyard about 90 feet from the street on the deck under pine trees. Path to the yurt has 12 steps and 15 degree up on some part of the deck. We have beautifully decorated, half around, eclectic full bathroom outside the yurt just 2 steps away. Yurt has low front door and low beds and seats. No tv, no wifi. It is out of your comfort zone! No human contact, self check in.

And yet town is only a 5 minute drive, allowing access to anything you might need during your stay. We consider our land a sacred, healing place. Before we built on this property we gave special homage to the Native peoples, and asked for blessings from the spirits to live here. We have discovered grinding rocks, shards of Chinese pottery, and ancient fire pits on the land.

Our camping yurt has 1 bedroom w/queen bed, full bath, full-size futon, dining table, full kitchen with cooktop, oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, plus coffee maker and toaster. All bedding is provided plus 1 set of bath towels. Outside, you'll find a deck with picnic table, perfect for outdoor meals. Guests have access to all resort amenities including Laundry facilities, pizza cafe with outdoor dining, swimming pools, spa, kid's playground and other outdoor activities.

Close by are The Pt Reyes National Seashore and Tomales Bay. The Sonoma and Napa wine regions are a beautiful 1 to 2 hour drive away.
