Entire home with full kitchen, one bathroom with washer and dryer, one bedroom with queen bed, newly added Queen bed in the living room, The home sits on 5 acres with amazing views. 30 minutes from The great sand dunes national park! 15 minutes from Sand dunes hot springs. Front and back porch perfect for watching the sunrise and sunsets, quiet get away. There is some equipment on property, We have a shop area in the back of the property we use occasionally but it is a good distance away. NO AC

Perfect for couples, this 9x12 one-room cabin is tucked in peaceful arroyos with stunning views of the multiple mountain ranges. Enjoy a true off-grid experience: no electricity, no running water—just quiet and the beauty of the high desert. The cabin includes a clean outdoor toilet and 2 gallons of fresh water for drinking and brushing teeth. You’ll need to bring your own food and cooking supplies. Walk trails on the property or explore nearby hiking routes, ATV trails, and a wolf preserve.

Koselig"(Norwegian) = Cozy (English). Sitting at the base of the Cuchara Mountain Park with hiking, skiing, sledding, and snowshoeing outside the door. Enjoy cool mountain air after a day of hiking or a warm fire after a day of playing in the snow. Walk to the nearby Mercantile for breakfast/lunch or drive into the nearby towns of Cuchara or La Veta for dinner. A comfortable retreat for those seeking time in the wilderness. Relax and stay under the stars in the beautiful San Luis Valley. Newly built unit with one bedroom 1 bath attached to our barn. You will have your own entrance 100 feet away from our main house. The space has a queen bed with a pull out couch. There is a small kitchen for your convince stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. There is a patio area with furniture, fire table, gas BBQ and hammocks. Come experience the tranquility that the magical San Luis Valley has to offer.

A slice of small town life

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Easy travel to the Great Sand Dunes, hot spring pools, hiking, off roading, skiing and hunting. Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge within 8 miles. Off street parking allows room for recreational vehicle parking as well. This cozy apartment of 500 sq ft is perfect for 2, but can accommodate 4 with the queen bedroom and the futon which makes into a queen size bed. No TV. Monte Vista is a small rural town.

Colorado High Mountain Off-Grid Glamping Treehouse

Get away from it all in our remote, contemporary style, off-grid, Colorado treehouse, located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains at 10K ft elevation. Relax on the deck while taking in the amazing views of Culebra Peak or gaze at the star filled skies. A tiny wood-burning stove will keep you cozy and warm. The sectional couch is used as a super-sized bed. Older kids (or average sized adults) can sleep in the small overhead loft on a 3 inch queen foam topper.

Rio Grande River Unique Place

A cozy tiny little house that is located in the San Luis Valley. The cozy house is located on our family ranch where you are within walking distance of fishing on the Rio Grande River or can enjoy seeing lots of different animals such as farm animals and wildlife. You can put your feet up as you sit on the porch and listen to the Ro Grande flow and immerse yourself in all that the ranch has to offer. Relax and enjoy your stay.

The Hummingbird Hangout at Stonewall

Retreat from the city in the magical small mountain village of Stonewall. Monument Lake (<10 min), North Lake (<15 min), Bear Lake, Blue Lake, and Trinidad Lake State Park are all a short distance from the cabin. Enjoy fishing, hiking, and hunting in the comforts of home. The cabin can accommodate up to 10 guests, has wifi, a full kitchen, and an outdoor entertainment space with views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
