Alpine Den - A Modern Forest Escape

The Alpine Den Is perfect for all occasions, from a romantic getaway to a family retreat. Located in an old growth forest near the Salmon River, nestled under a canopy of Firs and Cedars. The cabin sits on a picturesque half acre lot, minutes away from great restaurants, markets, golf course, biking and amazing hiking trails. Venture across the deck and have your coffee on a big rock by the river. Play on Mt. Hood, explore the shops in town, or just watch the Sandy roll by from the cozy sofa. Relax in the hot tub overlooking the river. Sit by the fireplace with your pup. Start a movie on the projector in the bunk room. Wake up to the river view from the king size bed upstairs or downstairs sunroom. Repeat. Just under an hour from Portland, 35 mins to Timberline, 10 mins to Mt Hood National Forest.

Private A-Frame (for 4 people) and separate studio bedroom/bathroom behind the garage (for 2 people.) Please note: the studio must be requested in advance. The A-Frame is on the edge of the Mount Hood National Forest. • Walk or drive to the Salmon River trailheads and Salmon River Slab. • 15 min to French's Dome. • 20 to 30 min to Timberline and Mount Hood Meadows, x-country and snow-shoeing at Trillium or Teacup. Located on the edge of Sandy, it's walkable to food carts, coffee, and stunning trails!

The Cedar House at Riverbend Orchard

Escape to nature’s beauty at this serene retreat on 23 wooded acres overlooking the Sandy River. Sip coffee on the heated wraparound deck, curl up by the stone fireplace, or soak in the hot tub under the stars. Hike the private trails, discover the pond, and unwind in the sauna. Thoughtfully designed for relaxation, with cozy nooks, books, and breathtaking views. Well-trained dogs welcome! No cats or other pets due to severe owner allergy.

The Woodlands Hideout

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.

Hiking, fishing, skiing are only minutes away!

WanderingWoods A-Frame Cabin

Enjoy the comforts of home in this cute and cozy A-Frame cabin, which offers both privacy and convenience to nearby activities! Located near The Resort at the Mountain, you're only 20 miles to Timberline Lodge and all of Mt. Hood's splendor. The Upper and Lower Salmon River Trailheads are just up the road, and a multitude of other hiking opportunities nearby.

Creekside Cozy Cabin

Nestled among tall cedars, you'll find the Creekside Cozy Cabin a perfect place to relax and enjoy its calm surroundings. While there are neighbors on both sides of the cabin, you still get that country feel away from the city. We are 20 miles from PDX Airport and 21 miles from Downtown Portland, but the drive out to the cabin is worth every mile.
