Petite Retreat; Artist Studio

Our detached Spanish-style artist’s studio is within a 3 to 15 minute walk of all the best restaurants and shops in the lower Village of Montecito. It is an easy four block walk from the patio to beautiful Butterfly Beach. It is cozy, private and has a fabulous, hot, outside shower ! (Note; this shower is the only shower for the studio). Gaze at the stars while rinsing off the sand ! The studio space is small, and cozy, warm radiant concrete floors can be turned on in the chillier months.

Our property is a collection of former out-buildings for the Glendessary Manor estate of poet and composer, Robert Cameron Rogers. The Cozy Stone Cottage was originally a pump house for the beautiful water tower which you can see from the front garden. You’ll love its rustic atmosphere and the warm cozy feeling of The Stone Cottage, separate bedroom, small gas fireplace stove, and sweet patio to sit and relax or eat a meal. Come enjoy this wonderful retreat!

It is simply appointed with a "cabin" feel. It is perfect for a solo traveler or cozy couple with a double (not queen) bed, mini kitchen, and tiny living room. See what our guests have to say.... ***Between the amazing sunrise, the friendly family (dog and owners!), and the wonderfully comfortable decor, this little studio is the perfect "home base" for a weekend in the area. So enjoyed being out of town, but so close to everything! Our only regret is we did not have longer to stay. ***What a wonderful studio that offers beautiful views of the mountains.
