Dryden Cottage, Whitby Harbour - Beach side

This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

The cottage is in a rural setting on a working farm near Scarborough. It is a bungalow with two internal steps, one leading from the lounge to the dining area and a second leading to the bedrooms and it is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids). We also allow a well behaved dog at the property. There are two bedrooms, a double with en suite shower room and a twin bedroom. The property is self catering. Travel Cot,Outside dog kennel facility is available.

Harwood Cottage is a very cosy self-catering holiday cottage in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park set in 150 acres of a private estate. It is central to all the local costal towns like Whitby and Scarborough. It is perfect for couples as it is very private and secluded location yet just a 10-15 minute drive to the local towns. Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly cottage. The cottage sleeps 4 people comfortably with a King size bed in the master bedroom complete with a sea view. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds. There is a perfectly formed family bathroom complete with a bath and overhead shower. A well appointed self catering kitchen opens onto the living/dining room again with a panoramic view of Filey Bay. A travel cot and high chair can be requested for the smallest of our guests.

Harwood House is a fisherman's cottage in the heart of the old town in Scarborough. It's 2 minutes' walk down Custom House steps, and you're on the sea front in South Bay. The house is on 4 floors. The cellar with the original range is the living room. We have a sitting room, dining area, kitchen with vaulted ceiling and bathroom on the ground floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the next two floors complete with sea and castle views. Inc wifi, parking , washer, dryer & dishwasher.

This unique cottage has a style all of its own. A modern property built in an old English style with large open fireplace, oak beams and wooden floors throughout. The cottage is set back off the road in a quiet courtyard with a lovely seating area to take in the daytime sun, The bedroom has a grand king size four posted bed with period furniture. There is a double sofa bed in the lounge area for extra guests but this must be booked prior to stay, all bedding and towels are provided

Spend your days walking on the beach or moors and wolds, then enjoy a drink at our village pub, then back to the cottage to sit by the log burner.
