Number 4 is a 2 bedroom end of terrace cottage nestled on the shores of Loch Shiel in the historic village of Glenfinnan, 17 miles west of Fort William along the breath-taking Road to the Isles. The view from the front is spectacular and the rear view is not bad either! Glenfinnan is the place to be for Harry Potter fans, Loch Shiel is the location of the 'Black Lake' and the Glenfinnan Viaduct-Harry Potter Bridge, and the Jacobite Steam Train (Hogwarts Express) are within walking distance.

The tranquil village of Comrie is situated 2 miles away, with the picturesque town of Crieff, 6 miles away, with Glasgow and Edinburgh one hour away. The Stable is a ground floor semi detached studio cottage situated in a private 40 acre estate with panoramic views of the Lake of Menteith, private covered porch, gas barbecue, freesat TV, DVD player, docking station and White Company linen. We have a corporate membership of Forrest Hills Hotel and Spa (c12 minutes drive from the cottage) which allows our guests access to their swimming pool, steam room, sauna and Spa and billiards room at no cost apart from individual spa treatments).

It is a good area for walkers of all abilities. There is ample parking for two cars and a there is a garden with tables and chairs and a barbeque. Dogs accommodated, but there are sheep around so they must be kept under control.
