A close walk to the jetty and beach - a 600m stroll alongside the pathway into the village. Sit outside the property on an iconic Sedgefield mosaic bench to enjoy stunning sunsets, mountains, lagoon and wildlife views. See the paragliders on cloud 9 . Enjoy what the slow Town has to offer - Relax - you are spoilt for choice with everything so close by!

Harvey's Cottage

Harvey’s Cottage is a private, cottage with artistic charm, set in a quiet central neighbourhood. Ideal for a relaxing holiday, overnight or business stay. It is in close proximity to the private and state hospital and 15 minutes drive to beaches and airport. Harvey’s Cottage has its own separate and private entrance as well as parking. It has a spacious open plan Loft bedroom. Downstairs a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine dining area, bathroom, sitting room and private deck.

the Clay House

Originally built in the early 19 hundreds, this traditional clay house has been renovated into a guest house that’s architecturally relaxed with a full screen view of the sunset over the Outeniqua mountains. Set on a small holding in Wilderness Heights , it’s quiet and restorative. We are away from the village bustle, yet only 7 minutes drive to Wilderness beach. The land is being rehabilitated to coastal forest and fynbos, and attracts birds and other wildlife

Forest Rise - a piece of paradise

The perfect family unit or spacious apartment for two couples. Forest Rise has two bedrooms, which are both en-suite. American shutters allow you to block our early morning light if you want to sleep in! The open plan lounge and kitchen allow for wonderful communal type setting which ensures the unit is perfectly set up for entertaining or family vacations. The balcony is under roof which caters for all types of weather. The view we will let speak for itself…

On the beach Seaside cottage

Seaside cottage is situated on Wilderness main beach. The cottage has no sea views from the bedrooms but only from the balcony upstairs. Beautiful sea views from the comman area on the grass. Walking distance to the Wilderness village. Ideal getaway for all couples and families. ( not ideal for small children, stairs in cottage and open balcony) No safety gate at stairs. The property is fully walled and has secure parking on the premises for one vehicle.

Wilderness Cottage

The cottage is decorated with an African theme in mind. It’s in a residential area, attached to the main house, but is private and has it’s own entrance. Our property overlooks the Nature Reserve. The view is spectacular and one can hear the Fish Eagle’s call from the cliffs above. Often we get a visit from a bush buck at the fence as well as the shy Knysna Loerie. We are a family of four and welcome guests to come and experience this tranquil space!

Goose cottage, situated in a fynbos estate.

Self catering, fully equipped large cottage with top end appliances and luxury bathroom. Very private, with gorgeous views of the Knysna lagoon. Guests will enjoy sleeping on beautiful queen slay bed with Egyptian cotton bedding, and a single bed. Kitchen has gas hob and microwave. Lots of private parking and close to town and eating spots. Camp cot available. Goose cottage is off the grid, so during loadshedding we are fully functional.

Situated along the Wilderness Lagoon (Touwsriver) just a 1km scenic walk or a 2 minute drive from the Wilderness village. Take a quick 1 minute walk down to the Lagoon boardwalk, or enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the Lagoon from the cottage balcony. This beautiful cottage offers both indoor and outdoor living, newly decorated with a minimalistic, homely feel allowing you to have a comfortable and relaxing stay.
