The cottage sleeps four, 1 large master bedroom with a super kingsize bed and a small bedroom with adult bunks (plus a guest bed for a fifth guest). Well behaved dogs are welcome! Conveniently situated not far from A303 and A350. It is gloriously unspoilt and peaceful with wonderful walks from the doorstep. Exclusive use of a part of a 16th Century Manor Farmhouse. The Old Barn is at the far end of a long wing of a lovely family farmhouse just outside a rural village in the stunning landscape of North Dorset. Its amazing views look over Dorset, Somerset & Wiltshire. The Old Barn is a very large studio space 12m x 4.5m with a king size bed, an additional double bedroom is available by prior & separate arrangement, the ensuite bath & shower is between the two rooms. Our double height wood and stone barn directly opposite our house is found at the end of a long private drive in lovely Dorset countryside. A very comfortable 5ft bed, woodburning stove and pretty views, a perfect relaxing and cosy retreat. Easy access to lots of interesting places. Guests can play tennis and croquet. The Barn sleeps two adults. Ample parking directly next to Barn. Please note the Barn unsuitable for children and infants. NB There are no shops or pubs within walking distance.

Located on a no-through road with only local residents traffic, giving a peaceful setting with views of the surrounding hills. Shaftesbury just over a mile with its historic Gold Hill and a good choice of shops and places to eat. It is a good base for exploring the area, offering historic houses, interesting gardens, walks, the Jurassic Coast, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Bath and much more.

If you are looking for a digital detox, The Cider Mill is the perfect place! This cosy little cottage, located in stunning Dorset countryside and with board games, books, and jigsaws to enjoy in front of the fire. There are local pubs and restaurants, numerous beaches, and many interesting National Trust houses and gardens to explore. The area also offers many activities for the whole family, such as Longleat Safari Park, Bovington Tank Museum, Yeovilton Air Museum, and Wooky Hole.
